Things are changing & help is finally here!

The VBA has just announced that former NSW Building Commissioner, David Chandler OAM, will be teaming up with the VBA and recently appointed CEO of the VBA, Anna Cronin.

This is simply brilliant news for the Victorian Building Industry and especially the end consumer, who in the past, has had very limited consumer protection when things go pear shaped!

David Chandler’s experience spans 4 decades in the construction industry, and over the past 5 years David has played a significant role in restoring consumer trust and improving poor construction practices in NSW.

Over 60% of my work portfolio involves building disputes. The hardest part is seeing the impact a building dispute has on the consumer, not to mention how long the emotional and financial pain and suffering lingers around for.

I am hoping current & future regulatory changes in Victoria will have a big impact on building disputes, and I am super confident that this is going to happen with Anna & David at the helm.
